We will make every attempt to serve you via phone or email rather than in-person appointments. This includes initial consultations, follow-ups, signings, and any required court appearances. Armstrong Bankruptcy Law Offices will remain open so that we can continue to provide competent, compassionate, and responsive service to all who need us.*
At Armstrong Bankruptcy Law Offices, we pride ourselves on personal service, compassion and expertise in the field of consumer bankruptcy. Here are a few of the ways Armstrong Bankruptcy Law Offices is different from many other offices:
We offer a free, personal consultation with an experienced bankruptcy attorney, up to one hour in length.
We’ll never ask you to meet with a paralegal or screener the first time you come in. The reason we do this is simple: bankruptcy is a big decision, and everyone’s situation is different. Because of that, we want to give you our full attention. We also believe it’s important to take the time to ask questions and to answer yours as completely as possible. Choosing an attorney is not a decision to take lightly, and we want to make sure we give you all of the information we can so that you can make the best choice.
We won’t hand you a stack of forms to fill out.
We fill out the paperwork and talk to you about each step. Our goal is to help you through a stressful, complex situation. We prepare your petition, and don’t ask you to fill out a stack of forms for a typist. We believe that your attorney should learn about you and your situation and use that information to counsel you on your options—not just to type your data into a form.
You might expect our full-service approach to cost more, but that’s rarely the case. Our fees are competitive, and we believe that you’ll find that we are able to offer a great value for the dollar. In many cases, our fees are lower than those of our competitors.
We don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to bankruptcy, because each case is different. We also don’t have a one-size-fits-all fee for bankruptcy, because we know that we need to talk to you first and get some information about your situation before we can give you the best advice. We also accept Legal Shield (formerly Prepaid Legal) and ARAG Legal Insurance.
We are a local Oregon office, and bankruptcy is all we do.
We don’t “dabble” in bankruptcy, and we think you should be very cautious about attorneys who believe they can. We believe it’s important that your attorney stay abreast of changes in bankruptcy law, which is a complex and discrete field of practice. Additionally, trustees have different requirements and preferences depending on the geographic area to which they are appointed. We gain information by filing cases regularly in each of the areas we serve, and that information helps us better represent you and avoid issues or problems in your case.
