John Butler graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and went on to graduate from University of Oregon Law School in 1999. He is a former chair of the debtor-creditor section of the Lane County Bar Association, and a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA.)

John’s many hobbies include photography, music and travel. He enjoys spending time on the Oregon Coast with his wife Deborah and their dogs, Sophie and Stella.

Gavin Armstrong graduated from the University of Kansas in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, and went on to receive a law degree from the University of Kansas Law School in 1969. He has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1969, serving on its disciplinary panel and the executive committee of the debtor-creditor section. He is a former member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA,) former board member of Consumer Credit Counseling of Lane County, and past president of the Eugene Active 20-30 Club.

Gavin enjoys traveling with his wife Christine and reading mystery novels. He specialized in consumer and small business bankruptcies for over 25 years, and retired from practice in December, 2014.

Heather McIntosh has worked at Armstrong Bankruptcy Law Offices for over 15 years.  With our attorneys, she assists our clients through every stage of the bankruptcy process, from setting initial consultations through preparation and filing of the bankruptcy petition and preparation of documents for hearings.  She has developed extensive bankruptcy knowledge over the years, and is an invaluable part of the Armstrong Bankruptcy Law Offices team.

When she’s not at work, Heather enjoys reading, music, movies and activities with her husband and children.  She is a life-long  Oregonian and spends as much time as possible with her large extended family in Cottage Grove.
